The Charges Against Robert Mammone – Hewlett, North Bellmore, Long Island NY

In an October 21, 2000 game at Mepham High School in North Bellmore, Robert Mammone, the Hewlett High School Football team captain, was playing the fullback position against Brendan Wright, 17, of Freeport, who was playing strong safety. During a play early in the game, Brendan was injured, and Robert was ejected from the game.

Mammone was later banned from playing for the rest of the season.
